About UsI formed Real Nappiness in 2005 when my first son was 6 months old. I spent a lot of time researching the different styles and makes of washable nappies, I used a real mixture of real nappies with my son and started to learn how all the different systems worked. It was upon a suggestion of my Health Visitor that I started advising other mums on using washable nappies. I have since had the chance to test newer nappies on the market when my second baby was born in 2010.
During 2005 I was asked by Bromsgrove Council to help with the setting up of local nappaccinos - a coffee morning where people can get advice and information about using real nappies and take a look at what is available. Since then Real Nappiness has grown from strength to strength, I have continued to run nappaccinos, and also provide a nappy advisory service at local ante-natal and post-natal groups.
At Real Nappiness we are proud of the personal, experienced service that we provide. All our products are tested extensively by staff and a network of testers. We are an independent company that is not linked to any particular product or manufacturer and we firmly believe in all the products that are stocked and all are highly recommended by our own testers and other parents.
I am also a volunteer for my local NCT Branch and have trained to become a bra-fitter. We can offer a local bra-fitting service to both members and non-members of the NCT, I also attend breastfeeding support groups to offer a bra-fitting service to both ante-natal and post-natal mums.
I am nearing the end of my training with the NCT to become a breastfeeding counsellor and we will be extending our breastfeeding products range shortly. | How To Find Us PageWe have a small showroom open at the following address:
