Stuffable / Pocket Nappies Explained

Stuffable or Pocket nappies have a waterproof outer and integrated fleece liner.
The pocket between the liner and the outer allow you to stuff the nappy with anything absorbent.
Folded flat nappies and boosters work well as stuffing

ADVANTAGES
Once prepared they are easy to put on - Go on more like disposables
Ideal for Nursery, Childminder & other carers.
Great for when you're out and about and holidays.
Very Quick and Easy to Dry
The fleece liner is ideal against sensitive bottoms and keeps baby dry.
Can boost them to whatever absorbency you need although they may not be suitable for nightime.

DISADVANTAGES
More expensive outlay at beginning but good value from birth to potty
Need to get the 'stuffing' right for them to be effective
The waterproof gets washed each time it is used so they may not go onto another baby. If you look after them when you wash them they should last for one baby.
Must stuff them correctly to prevent leakages.
A good fit around the legs is very important

Apple Cheeks Nappies

Apple Cheeks nappies are designed and manufactured in Quebec in Canada.
Their sized pocket nappies look great on a baby that are very trim. They are one of the few nappies with a prefold type insert as opposed to flat boosters and this leads to much better absorbency.

Charlie Banana Nappies

Charlie Banana Nappies are designed as all-in-one type nappies.
Their stuffable design is a little different to the Nature Babies and Happy Heinys with the opening a little way down the nappy rather than at the top. This makes for easy stuffing.
We stock the birth-to-potty nappy which has a unique size adjustment at the legs where you can change the length of the elastic. There is a large range of sizing and these can size down to some of the smallest one-size nappies we've seen.

Nature Babies Stuffables

These are excellent value for money, multisize stuffable nappies.
They have a waterproof outer with a soft fleece inner, you stuff them with anything absorbent.
There are some fabulous, colourful designs to choose from.

Happy Heiny Nappies

Happy Heinys stuffable / pocket nappies are designed to take baby from birth-to-potty.
With a velcro fastening, they fit all shapes of babies but especially bigger babies.

Blueberry Birth-To-Potty Nappies

These birth-to-potty stuffable nappies are proving very popular.
They feel very soft and silky and the designs look really cute.
Once they are stuffed they are really easy to use and the included booster seems absorbent enough that the nappy may not need any exra stuffing.
Because they are quick drying, you may get away with less than 20 nappies to make up your kit. So even though they seem expensive for a real nappy, as they are birth-to-potty they work out quite good value.
