WRAPS
Waterproof outer to keep wetness locked into the nappy
They are breathable
The size adjustable wraps with velcro or poppers are probably better to use than pull-up pants
Make sure the wrap fits really well to prevent leakages
Make sure all the nappy is tucked inside the wrap
It is recommended that you use a wrap with an extra leg gusset on newborns
You will generally need 5 or 6 wraps to complete a set of nappies
If you are using nappies from birth to potty you will usually use 3 sizes of wrap

Breathable Polyurethane Laminate (PUL)
Available in plain white, pale lemon or pale blue, or 5 ecological theme patterns.
Velcro Fastening.
Elasticated leg gusset gives good containment.
Excellent over all different sorts of nappies including; Shaped, terries and prefolds.
Easy to care for and will wash with your nappy load

Medium - 10-20lbs
Large - 20-35lbs
Extra Large - 35lbs+
Most babies will go through 3 sizes, small to large if they are in nappies from birth to potty training.
The extra small are ideal for extra small nappies or prefolds.

Good over shaped and terry nappies, when poo is not so runny.
Easy to care for and will wash with your nappy load.

Extra Small - 6-12lbs
Small - 6-12lbs
Medium - 10-20lbs
Large - 20-35lbs
Extra Large - 35lbs+
Most babies will go through 3 sizes, small to large if they are in nappies from birth to potty training.
However not recommended for newborns especially those with very runny poo because they may not contain as well as other wraps.
Also more 'fiddley' to do up on wriggling babies.
A wrap that is a popular choice once babies start playing with their wraps and trying to undo them.

POPOLINI POPO WRAP

Available in plain white, lilac, or 3 cute patterns.
Elasticated leg gusset gives good containment.
Excellent over all different sorts of nappies including; Shaped, terries and prefolds.
Easy to care for and will wash with your nappy load.

Small - 7-13lbs
Medium - 11-22lbs
Large - 20-35lbs
Extra Large - 31lbs+
Most babies will go through 3 sizes, small to large if they are in nappies from birth to potty training.
The Popo wraps will fit any shape of baby although they are more roomy than the motherease so may be a better velcro wrap to choose for bigger babies.

MODERN BABY WRAPS

Either Breathable Polyurethane Laminate (PUL) or PUL inside with cotton covered outer
Velcro fastening
Available in plain white, and some bright and pale gingham colours
Good over Prefolds, Modern Baby Nappies and Nature Babies Nappies
Easy to care for and will wash with your nappy load. The wraps with the cotton outer take longer to dry than PUL wraps
4 Sizes:
Newborn - Upto 10lbs
Small - 8-15lbs
Medium - 15-25lbs
Large - 25-35lbs

A cute wrap that works well over prefolds and some of the slimmer shaped nappies

NATURE BABIES WRAPS

Breathable Polyurethane Laminate (PUL)
Popper Fastening
The Classic wrap has two lines of poppers that does up at the waist.
The Mulitwrap has poppers that do up at the waist and at the thigh giving good adjustability.
With extra poppers, these wraps also adjust lengthways in the small and medium.
Available in plain white and many different patterns.
Elasticated leg gusset gives good containment.
There is no elastication across the tummy.
The classic wrap can be a good alternative if the front of velcro wraps fold in and irritate the baby.
Excellent over shaped and terry nappies.
Easy to care for and will wash with your nappy load.
3 Sizes:
Small - Newborn - 14lbs
Medium - Upto 28lbs
Large - 20lbs+
The sizing is very approximate and will depend largely on the shape of the baby.
Nature babies wraps will fit any shape of baby and are really good for babies with chunkier legs. They are also 'roomy' around the waist
You may get away with using 2 sizes, but even though these wraps can extend in size you will probably still have to use 3 sizes of wrap.
